The Frank Piersma Scholarship is awarded each year to 2 Male & 2 Female West Ottawa Student Athletes who have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher, have received Varsity letters in at least 2 Sports and are viewed as the true embodiment of a Student Athlete who leads by example on and off the field. The Student Athletes are nominated by their coaches based on their commitment to the team and for setting an example for the underclassmen and then selected by the West Ottawa Athletic Boosters represented today by Booster Board Member Melissa Baldwin. This Year's Piersma Scholarship Award winners are Quin McLeod, Ben Voss, Emma Gunnett, and Addy Scholten.
