Saturday morning the Boys Track team competed at Byron Center in the Bulldog Invitational against 15 other teams. We placed 2nd overall. The top 4 in each event earned medals. Medalists for the panthers include the following: Dexter Ruhl had a HUGE PR day- he won the Long Jump with a PR of 21'5", placed 3rd in the 110 Hurdles with a PR of 15.62 and placed 2nd in the 300 Hurdles with a PR of 40.17. Charlie Sanders placed 2nd in the 100 dash (11.25) and placed 1st in the 200 dash (22.62). In the 1600, Levi Jongekryg placed 2nd (4:34.09), Sebastian Ruiz placed 3rd (4:45.99), and Ethan Gerlach placed 4th (4:49.17). The 4x100 Relay of Christian Lewis, Dexter Ruhl, Brandon Berry, and Charlie Sanders placed 3rd overall (44.31) Brandon Berry placed 2nd in the High Jump (6'2") In addition, there were many PRs established throughout the day.
