In a battle of #2 vs #3 in Michigan, the girls XC team defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer along with 12 other teams at the Otsego Bulldog Invitational. West Ottawa won the meet with 32 points, Pioneer finished with 53, Portage Central was third with 120 points. For the first time ever, West Ottawa had seven girls break 19 minutes in the same race. The 7 times run were in the top 14 times ever run in West Ottawa history. Next up West Ottawa will face off with the #1 ranked team in Michigan - Romeo - at the Portage Invite on Saturday Oct 5th.
