The boys varsity tennis team traveled to Rockford Wednesday in the battle of the unbeaten teams OK-Red Teams. Both West Ottawa and Rockford entered the match 4-0 in the OK-Red. The winner will be in first place going into the conference tournament next Saturday. There were tightly contested matches up and down the line-up. West Ottawa had the edge in the singles line-up and Rockford had the edge in the doubles line-up. There were many close matches all afternoon. Rockford ended up coming out on top winning 5-4 on the day. Next up the panthers take the court Saturday in a home quad featuring 2 teams ranked in the top 10 in their division.
