The boys varsity tennis team went undefeated Saturday, August 29th hosting Lowell, regional opponent Loy Norrix, and Greenville. The panthers have been working hard to make sure we play our best whenever we step on the court, regardless of our opponent. Saturday was no different. We play our brand of tennis and give our best whenever we get the opportunity to complete. Highlights include: - Won all 27 matches on the day. - Did not drop a set at any flight. - No flight gave up more than 3 games in any set. - Against Lowell, the doubles flights did not give up a single game, winning every set 6-0, 6-0 and as a team we gave up 10 total games to win the match 9-0. - Against Loy Norrix, we again gave up 10 total games winning the match 9-0 - Winning 9-0 against Greenville to wrap up the day undefeated. - Lincoln Taylor/Dawson Linn (1 Doubles) did not give up a game on the day, winning all 3 of their matches 6-0, 6-0. - Ethan Gibson/Blake Theobald (5 Doubles) gave up 2 total games across their 3 matches. - Soren Traver (1 Singles) went undefeated on the day going 3-0 and giving up 4 total games on the day. Soren has the toughest job on the team, playing every schools best player and today Soren showed just what he is capable of in convincing fashion. - Gavin White (4 Singles) gave up 3 total games on the day across his 3 matches. The boys varsity tennis team moves to 8-2 on the season and will next take the court September 10th to open OK-Red play home against Grand Haven.
