Hey West Ottawa Tennis Family, Our trip to the East side of the state also included a matchup with perennial powerhouse Troy. An outstanding team that is known for elite doubles play, our girls more than held their own. As with Bloomfield Hills, this was another sweep by our singles crew...Evie Price 11, Izzy Gitler 9, Sydney Shafer 9, and Maggie Rothstein 12. As with Bloomfield Hills, our singles players only dropped a collective 13 total games. It's hard to overstate how impressive this is. But additionally, we were able to beat Troy where they are hardest to beat...the doubles. Our girls won 3 of those 5 flights, with Hope Hughes/Haylee Geerlings at 2 doubles, Olivia Smith/Audrey Anderson at 3 doubles, and Mallory Paff/Hope Sikorski at 4 doubles coming through with victories.
