Kelli Genzink, Maelyn VanTil, Holland Christian , 4-6 , 6-2 , 10-6 Tale of the tape for this year's team: - This is a young group, with 3 seniors, 3 juniors, 5 sophomores, and 3 freshmen. - We are led by 4 outstanding captains: Kallyn Gaul, Lovelle Kim, Evie Price, and Maggie Rothstein - We graduated 3 of our 4 singles players from a year ago. However, the addition of freshmen standouts Izzy Gitler and Sydney Shafer allows us to keep most of last years doubles players in the doubles lineup. What's next? I'm typing this from a hotel in Utica, because tomorrow we take on three of the top teams in Division 1...Utica Eisenhower, Bloomfield Hills, and Troy. Today was a great way to dip our toes into competitive play. Last year we finished 9th in Division 1, and are looking to improve upon that this Spring. Tomorrow will be a great barometer for how we stand. Wish us luck, and look for a writeup sometime on Sunday. Go WO! -Coach Pete Schwallier
