Rockford Rams came out the gate playing with good pace to score a quick goal against the Panthers. Panther’s midfielders were able to slow the game with possession to organize a build up to put pressure on the Rams. Panthers constant pressure and attack forced the Rams to play more defensively allowing a loose ball around the 25 yards out to Joel Scheneman’s right foot. His brilliant shot hit post and entered in to tie it up for the half. Rams continued their tactic of playing long ball over the midfield to use their speed to their advantage. At the start of the second half, Rams again scored a quick goal off of their long ball tactic. Panthers struggled to respond to their physical play and high paced game allowing Rams multiple opportunities to score. At the 65th minute, Rams strong play finally created their third goal of the night. Panthers will need to regroup to play against Grand Haven Buccaneers on Thursday.
