Busy night with a large crowd to celebrate Senior Night and Purple Power. All eight Seniors started the game and played well together at home for the last time. At the 7th minute of the game, Senior Ray Mackey recovered a turnover ball in the middle of the field and dribbled the ball through several Bucs of Grand Haven to score the first goal. Ray scored the second goal due to a brilliant assist from Dylan Urbina from a counter attack which started by Braden Griffin. Bucs responded quickly early in the second half to cut the lead in half. Within minutes from the Bucs goal, Ray capitalized on a penalty kick awarded to him due to a tripping call inside the box. At the 63rd minute, Bucs scored off a poor clear from a Panther defender and again threaten to tie up the game. Panthers ball movement kept Bucs chasing for the rest of the game. Luis Gomez was able to connect with Jose Pedraza for the fourth goal to end any hopes for a come back. Great way to end the regular season to prepare mentally and emotionally for the first district game against Hudsonville. Panthers are looking forward to avenge their two losses to the Eagles this coming Thursday at Hudsonville. The game starts a 5:00 pm.
