Meet Recap

Today the girls moved to 5-0 in the Red, with one duel remaining. Monday we’ll head out to Rockford, who is also 5-0. Monday night we’ll know who has control of 1st place headed into next weekends conference tournament.

A quick special recognition to both #1 singles players…Kim-Ahn Tran and Chloe Karp. The level throughout that match was very high. Both players have trained for years to be able to produce the kind of tennis that they gave each other. Both players had match points.
Those are difficult matches to be part of, and both girls showed poise and class. I’m proud of Chloe for putting in the work of completely closing the gap on Kim over the last year. I have great respect for Kim in pulling out the win.
