Meet Recap

Wet and cold weather hampered performances at the D1 Regional at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix Friday. Despite conditions, Ted Babcock threw 49-1 in the shot put to qualify for the state finals. Austin Schipper placed 2nd in the 300 hurdles with 40.48 to qualify. In the 3200, Aaron Weimer came in 4th, but his 9:35.9 made the qualifying time for the state final.

Also scoring for the Panthers were Qway Burton (7th) in the 100, Clyde Snyder (5th) in the 200, Liam Walits (6th) in the 1600, Anthony Charameda (4th) in high jump, and Immanuel McElroy (5th) in long jump. Williams, Snyder, McElroy, and Burton finshed 3rd in the 4×200 relay.
