Meet Recap

The Panthers of West Ottawa traveled to The Meadows of GVSU and fired a season low 312 to capture 2nd place in the OK Red Mid-Season Tournament. Rockford [295] won the event, Caledonia [325] was 3rd. The Panthers were led by four scores in the 70’s for the first time all year. Jr. Nick Wehrmeyer led the way with his second 77 round of the year, Soph. Collin Robbins and Sr. Hunter Myrick both fired 78’s, while Soph. Drew Dykens rounded out the scoring with a 79. The Panthers also captured individual top 10 medals: Wehrmeyer was 6th, Robbins 7th, Myrick 8th, and Dykens 10th. The Panthers head to Diamond Springs tomorrow to take on Hamilton and Thornapple-Kellogg in a trimatch.
